To help answer the question each week, our panel of experts and our readers will get their say. If you're true to your school, vote and comment online at VictoriaAdvocate.com. For this week, readers will be able to choose from the Memorial Vipers , El Campo Ricebirds, Bay City Blackcats and the Calhoun Sandcrabs. Vote early and often at VictoriaAdvocate.com. Also, leave your comments there backing up why your school has the most spirit. Voting closes at 5 p.m. Monday.

I returned to racing a few weekends ago, racing in a sprint triathlon after my recovery period from competing in an Ironman race in June. I went out the day before to check out the swim course and the run up to transition. I passed on the opportunity to check out the bike route. I have chosen to do this a lot, instead choosing to see the biking route for the first time on race day. I’ve decided that during a long race, such as in an Ironman, I have 112-miles to get it figured out. However, at this particular race, lack of attention to details (such as the bike course) would cost me precious minutes. more >>
